Join us on Friday, Nov. 11 for a community reading of Homer’s ‘The Odyssey’ at Western Michigan University, sponsored by the Department of World Languages and Literature.

If you are in or near Kalamazoo, come join us in person and read some lines from the Iliad. The marathon reading will begin at 11 a.m. at 2452 Knauss Hall (Map).

Parking can be found nearby in Lot 33, near Miller Auditorium, 2200 Auditorium Dr. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (Map).

If you can’t join us in person, you can be with us digitally. The marathon reading will be live streamed beginning at 11 am Eastern Standard Time (16:00 GMT)

This is the third marathon reading organized by the Department of World Languages and Literatures. Earlier this year, students organized a marathon reading of Homer’s “Iliad;” in 2013, another group of students held a marathon reading of Virgil’s Roman epic, the Aeneid.
